Bedford Playhouse (633 Old Post Road) is hosting an exciting evening featuring live 60s-inspired music, food and drink and plenty of flower power on Saturday, June 22.
The Woodstock party will be Bedford Playhouse’s biggest party of the year as well as its first major fundraiser following the first successful year of operations.
The musical acts scheduled for the event include local well-known cover bands Not Dead Yet, Guilty Pleasure and Paul Green Rock Academy. They will be “celebrating both the music of the 60's and new music inspired by the counterculture,” and other musical surprises are also expected throughout the evening.
The night will continue with a “psychedelic dance party.” The best part? Eccentric clothing is encouraged — tie-dye, embroidery, platform shoes and other similar 60s-style apparel will be fully embraced.
Guests can even snap photos with the commemorative VW bus-turned-photo booth, which will be set up at the event entrance.
“We are thrilled and excited to see so many people from all different parts of our community buying up tickets to support the Playhouse and dance the night away with us,” said Executive Director Nicole Gardner. “This is going to be a very memorable evening!"
